❤️ from Montréal, Canada

I make art because it makes me feel alive, and it deeply feels like the right thing to do.

Over time, it has become a practice I dedicate myself to, as a way of staying in contact with what feels sacred, and honoring it.

I work with color, texture, and gesture to explore forms of presence.

The paintings don’t start from images or ideas I want to illustrate. They begin from listening - to the inner world, to the material, and to what unfolds as I work.

Painting abstractly lets me stay with what I’m sensing - where things like silence, tension, and light are felt directly, without needing to be named.

I’m less concerned with what a work represents than how it feels to be with it - whether it can quietly shift the atmosphere of a room, or shape the moment spent in its presence.

I hope my work can function a bit like music - something that can be felt, carried, and shared, a small piece of aliveness that accompanies people as they move through life.
